Admissions Policy forTennessee Technology Center at Pulaski

 

Minimum age for enrollment is eighteen (18) and a student can only be enrolled in one occupational area. Prospective students are urged to apply at any time.

Practical Nursing Applicants:
 
*Must complete an enrollment application during a specified period
* Posses a high school diploma or GED
* Pass the Nurse's Entrance Test
* Participate in an interview
* Furnish three (3) work references* Complete a thorough physical examination
Nursing applicants with prior convictions or felonies  may not be granted license by the desired state upon the completion of the program.
 

 

 

 

Credit For Previous Training

 

Previous educational training and/or experience shall be evaluated and the student shall be enrolled  in training at his proficiency level. The student shall be responsible for providing the documentation and/or evidence or training or proficiency.

 

Fees:

 

Full - Time Students: All full - time students enrolling for over 341 hours, whether residents or non - residents will pay a maintenance fee of $ 595.00 per trimester. Students enrolling or completing between quarter beginning and ending dates will pay a prorated fee for that quarter based upon the fee schedule below. Fees must be paid during registration before a student will be officially admitted to class. Thereafter, the fee must be paid at the beginning of each quarter.

 

Part - Time Students: Students enrolling in short - term, part - time, or supplemental programs (432 hours or less ) will be assessed a fee based on the length (number of hours) of the program in which he or she is enrolled. The fee is collectible at the beginning of the program. Students enrolling in part - time or supplemental programs in excess of 432 hours length will be assessed a fee based on the number of hours (not exceed full - time fee) training offered in each quarter; the fee is collectible at the beginning of each quarter.

 

Secondary Students And Special Industry Training: Students fees shall not be individually assessed. Please see the Student Services Office for more information.

 

Technology Access Fee: A non - refundable fee will be assessed all full and part - time students. Before any student is counted as enrolled, the maintenance fee  and technology fee must be paid. Fees may not be waived.*
