Equal Access
Each Tennessee Technology Center is dedicated to the ideas, principles, and policies of Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Each Center offers equal opportunity for admission to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, disability, veteran status, national origin so long as the student has employment objective and can benefit from the instruction. (Ref. SR690, HB 860). Special accommodations for students with disabilities include designated parking spaces, entrance ramps, and special restroom facilities. Persons who declare an occupational objective shall be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. There are no specific residency requirements for admission to TTC-Pulaski.
Age
The mimimum age for enrollment is eighteen or seventeen with a high school diploma or GED®. The enrollment of high school students shall require special agreement between the Tennessee Board of Regents and the local Boards of Education.
Application Procedures
Prospective students are urged to apply at any time. Steps in making application are as follows:
- Complete and submit application to Student Personnel Services.
- If "male" and between the ages of 18 and 26, provide documentation of registration with Selective Service.
- Discuss with Career/Placement counselor primary vocational objectives, cost of attendance (tuition/books/supplies), available financial aid, and the course outline/description.
- Meet with the instructor to obtain information regarding the curriculum, grading policy, prior year's completion and placement rates, placement potential, description of job, and average salary.
- Provide documentation of proper immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Chicken Pox (Varicella).
- Submit a copy of high school diploma or GED to the Financial Aid Officer.
- Complete the Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) or sign a waiver if not needed.
- Discuss with the Career/Placement Counselor the Key Train Assessment process.
Applicants will be given a projected start date upon completion of the requirements listed above, and their application will officially be placed on a waiting list. Student Services will notify the applicant as to the date and time to report for enrollment.
Applicants enrolled in high school are eligible for admission as dual enrolled students provided that:
- An agreement authorizing such admission is concluded between the local Board of Education and the Tennessee Technology Center. Such agreements are subject to the approval of the Chancellor or his designee.
- Enrollment is limited to one occupational area unless approved by the TTCP Director.
Practical Nursing Applicants:
- Must complete an enrollment application during a specific period.
- Posess a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass the Compass/Asset Test.
- Participate in an information session.
- Furnish three (3) work references*.
- Complete a thorough physical examination.
*Enrollment into the Practical Nursing Program is limited and based on selection guidelines.
*Nursing applicants with prior convictions or felonies may not be granted license by the desired state the completion of the program. In addition, criminal background checks, and drug screen will be required of all students accepted for enrollment into the Practical Nursing program.
Credit for Previous Training
Previous educational training and/or experience shall be evaluated and the student shall be enrolled in training at his/her proficiency level. The student shall be responsible for providing the documentation and/or evidence of training or proficiency.
Fees:
Full - Time Students: All full - time students enrolling for over 341 hours, whether residents or non - residents will pay a maintenance fee of 925.00 per trimester. Students enrolling or completing between trimester beginning and ending dates will pay a prorated fee for the trimester based upon the fee schedule below. Fees must be paid during registration before a student will be officially admitted to a class. Thereafter, the fee must be paid at the beginning of each trimester.
Part - Time Students: Students enrolling in short - term, part - time, or supplemental programs (432 hours or less) will be assessed a fee based on the length of the program in which he/she is enrolled. The fee is collectible at the beginning of the program. Students enrolling in part - time or supplemental programs in excess of 432 hours length will be assessed a fee based on the number of hours (not exceed the full - time fee) of training offered in each trimester; the fee is collectible at the beginning of each trimester.
Secondary Students and Special Industry Training: Students fees shall not be individually assessed. Please see the Student Services Office for more information.
Technology Access Fee: A non - refundable fee will be assessed from all full and part - time students. Before any student is counted as enrolled, the maintenance fee and technology fee must be paid. Fees may not be waived*

Special Academic Fees:
- Practical Nursing Students ($100.00 per trimester)
- Industrial Welding Technology Students ($100.00 per trimester)
*All fees must paid on designated registration dates prior to the first day of each trimester to attend class and be considered officially enrolled.
