2011/2012 Licensed Practical Nursing Schedule (Pulaski Class)

Applications accepted at Pulaski Campus Only on the following dates and times:

Monday, June 6, 2011 through Friday, June 10, 2011 (9 a.m. or 1 p.m. only)

and

Tuesday, June 7, 2011 (5 p.m. only) or Thursday, June 9, 2011 (5 p.m. only)

Free Prep Class for Asset Entrance Test will be offered June 13, 2011 through June 17, 2011.  First Class:  June 13 and June 14 (8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) and June 15 (8 a.m.-11:30 p.m.) Second Class:  June 15 (12 noon-3:30 p.m.) and June 16 and June 17 (8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)

Selection process, Compass/Asset Entrance Test preparation, financial aid, etc. will be discussed on the above dates and time.

A fee of $15.00 will be collected prior to testing on your scheduled test date.

Asset Entrance Test will be administered on either July 11 or July 12, 2011.

Asset Test Results will be mailed out July 22, 2011.

Information Session with the Director of Nursing will be July 28, 2011 at 9 a.m.

Acceptance Letters for the Practical Nursing class will be mailed out August 5, 2011.

Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen results (cannot register and will not be considered without) will have to be submitted to TTC PN Director by August 19, 2011.

Physical Exam will have to be completed and turned in by August 19, 2011

Mandatory Study Skills class will be required for those accepted.  August 29, 2011 and August 30, 2011 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

First Day of Class will be September 1, 2011.

Acceptance into the Practical Nursing Program is not automatic, even though applicant may be academically qualified.  Class size is limited by clinical and classroom space as well as faculty availability.  Applicants will be notified by letter of acceptance.
