The solar training program mission concentrates on basics of understanding and installing code compliant solar energy systems. The program is beneficial to people who currently work in or want to be employed in the green renewable energy industry. Student technicians will learn the practical theory, design criteria, installation guidelines, safety issues and maintenance principles of photovoltaic solar systems. The electrical power used to meed our daily needs and activities is still primarily generated from fossil fuels. This kind of power generation pollutes the environment. Moreover, fossil fuels are finite and once used are gone forever. For this reason alone, alternative forms of renewable power generation provide a more intelligient solution to powering our lives. Photovoltaic systems provide energy to meet our needs without contributing to the greenhouse effect. Solar power installation on homes and businesses are capable of producing clean energy and is considered to be one of several ultimate solutions for our future.
